Well here it is that time again,

Tulsa Shootout  (Looking for a win) and (we did get a win)

We went to TULSA, we raced hard, we were BAD FAST!!!

Cameron went out in the first practice session on Friday posting the fourth fastest time out of the 88 cars in our class. We went out for the second session after a small adjustment to the car to tighten the rear a bit and posted the fastest time over all 88 cars by two tenths of a second. We then drew our number and proceded to our heat race. Cameron jumped into the lead right off pulling out a half straight lead in just three laps before the yellow came out for a spin on the track. When we went back to green Cameron pulled out a lead for the rest of the race ending the race with the win and a demanding runaway finish by a full straight away lead. This finish placed us directly into The eighth starting position of the A-MAIN. This race didnt go as well, we started off well, dropping into the tenth spot and quickly working our way up to the seventh spot, but while making a run for the front we were taken out by another car we were passing. It seemed he didnt want to be passed, so instead he short braked Cameron, Cameron hit him and and got hooked to him sending both Cameron and this other driver to the rear. We learned alot and we know we had the speed to win, next year we will go back and claim our fame in victory lane. All in all this year went very well and we did at least make ther show. That is more than 63 others in our class can say.

Its been a great season in the 600, I have raced 19 weekends and the point season has come to an end. I moved up to third place for my final position in the points. I have the highest average points for the season of all of the first year drivers in the 600 class making me Rookie of the year for 2007.

Out of the 19 races run this year I ended up with nine wins for the season.

Below are the points for the class for 2007. The Drivers in red are first year drivers running for rookie of the year points.
